From The Dawning of Wisdom Part 1 "Daily Observations"
Day 12
The Word of God is full of mysteries for us to solve. Once they are solved, they are no longer mysteries but become practical helps in living an overcoming life in Christ Jesus. Here is one I recently solved: two people were accusing me of being a favored person, thereby somehow short-changing them. Instead of trying to convince them that it was not true or not a disadvantage to them if true, or becoming defensive in any way, I simply said, "Praise the Lord. If I'm favored, praise the Lord!" Immediately the accusation stopped and the atmosphere changed, as though nothing negative had been said. Mystery solved: how to change the atmosphere when others are releasing negative thoughts and feelings through negative words, simply audibly praise the Lord. The enemy does not stay present when someone is praising the Lord. The Lord inhabits the praises of His people and when He shows up, evil spirits flee.
"But You are holy, Who inhabits the praises of Israel." (Psalm 22:3) The ultimate mystery has been revealed: "the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory." (Colossians 1:26-27)
When the smaller mysteries become revelation to us and personally applied to our lives, Christ in us, the larger mystery, will be revealed to others.
