Another Christmas poem

 WORSHIP HIM

Sing songs of adoration, my children
to the God-man who came to earth!
Let your praises ring out  -  from
    hearts overflowing with mirth!

Your Savior has come  -  born as a babe,
    lived as a man and in humility He died;
He gave, He served, He loved  -
    that you may be justified.

He descended, He ascended, He said, “Go tell…..
that man is no longer condemned to hell.”
God’s Kingdom has been proclaimed for centuries and more,
and all must enter through Jesus, the door.

Wake up, my sleepy ones! Awake, oh man on earth below!
Do you not realize the trumpet will soon blow?
And all God’s children who love from the heart
and look for His coming, from earth will depart.

Sing to the Father who sent His only Son!
Sing to the Son, who many brethren He has won!
Sing to the Spirit who draws men in --
and angels rejoice over those He does win.

Praise to the Three-in-One, triune God of us all!
Honor and glory we give as we answer the call -
To worship our Lord, our Savior, the King of kings,
Who has created and upholds, by His word, all things.

We adore You, we bow down before You and
    we call unto You, “Holy!”
We offer our lives and commit to You solely.

Thank you Jesus, for all You have done,
Thank you Father, for sending your Son,
Thank you Holy Spirit, for living in me,
for guiding and teaching and setting me free.

Oh worship the King, each and every one!
In spirit and truth, it must be done,.
He will lift you, He will bless you and
    bring you to glory,
And this, beloved friends ….. is the true Christmas story.
