16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."
PROMISE; You shall not perish but have eternal life. God sent His Son to save the world.
CONDITION; Believe in God's Son. Believe that He was sent into the world to save and not condemn you and the world.
God loves everybody. Every person ever born has been loved by God to the extent that Jesus Christ died for them. Whether male or female, black, brown,yellow, red or white, big or small, God sent His Son to die for their sins so that they may be saved from eternal damnation. The only condition to receive the free gift of eternal life is to believe this truth, that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to earth to die for your sins so that you could live forever with God. However, this believing is more than mere mental assent. It is believing in your heart, with your whole being. It is believing to the extent of confessing your sins, turning from them and confessing Jesus to be your Lord and Savior. If one is truly a believer, there will be a whole life change. You become a child of God. You come out of darkness into light. It is the biggest miracle in all of life, that God can make a brand new person out of even the worst sinner. Who in their right mind would reject Jesus, the Son of God, and thereby choose hell over heaven? Even now in this life, who would choose the ways of the world, self and the devil over having the peace, love, and blessings of God constantly in their lives?
